Plumbing Maintenance Technician (Residential)

Job Responsibilities

• Customer Assessments & Estimates Evaluate plumbing systems at customer locations and provide accurate recommendations and estimates for repairs, replacements, and upgrades
• Diagnose Issues Identify plumbing problems and determine appropriate solutions based on customer needs
• Service Work Perform light repairs and adjustments as needed while identifying opportunities for additional work
• Customer Communication Clearly explain findings, recommended solutions, and pricing options to customers to support informed decisions
• Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of work performed, estimates provided, and materials needed
• Emergency Response Respond to urgent plumbing service calls as needed
• Collaboration & Coordination Work closely with dispatch, service technicians, and office staff to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery
• Safety & Compliance Follow company policies and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

• Experience 3+ years of hands-on plumbing or plumbing service experience
• Practical Knowledge Strong understanding of residential plumbing systems, including water heaters, fixtures, and piping
• Tool Proficiency Comfortable using standard plumbing tools for service-related tasks
• Customer Service Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and provide a positive customer experience
• Sales Mindset Ability to identify customer needs and confidently present solutions and estimates
• Valid Driver’s License Clean driving record required
