Job Responsibilities
- Locate, source, and procure plumbing parts and materials needed for jobs in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Accurately review and validate part requests submitted by technicians to ensure completeness and correctness
- Stage and organize materials for upcoming jobs, ensuring all required parts are readily available prior to installation
- Coordinate closely with installation teams to confirm job scope, material needs, and daily expectations
- Communicate effectively with technicians and installers to prevent delays and ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track parts usage and availability
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable sourcing and competitive pricing
- Resolve supply issues, backorders, and discrepancies quickly to minimize disruptions to operations
- Ensure all materials meet company quality standards and job requirements
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing parts, materials, and systems (required)
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional vendor relationships
- Previous experience in plumbing supply, warehouse operations, or a similar role preferred
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, job scopes, and material lists
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in ordering and staging materials
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Effective communication skills for coordination between technicians, installers, and suppliers
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking, ordering systems, and communication tools
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address material shortages and logistical challenges quickly
