Journeyman Electrician (Residential)

Responsibilities:

• Perform Installation & Maintenance: Repair and maintain electrical systems, including weather heads, meter bases, outdoor disconnects, panels, breakers, outlets, and controls, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Troubleshoot Electrical Issues: Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using specialized tools such as voltmeters and ammeters
• Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with colleagues to plan and execute electrical installations and maintenance tasks, adhering to National Electrical Code and industry standards
• Read and Interpret Technical Diagrams: Understand and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with customers professionally, addressing questions, explaining electrical systems, and offering maintenance advice to ensure long-term satisfaction
• Maintain Accurate Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders and inspection reports, in a timely and accurate manner
• Strong ability to use a Company provided iPad to track your workday as necessary

We pride ourselves on offering paid customer service & technical training sessions. We also provide sessions for Electrical Code updates to keep our Electricians current with the NEC.

Qualifications:

• *Experienced Electrical Journeyman with a Minimum of 5 years residential electrical experience
• *Detailed knowledge and experience with Residential Electrical Service installations unsupervised
• *Thorough knowledge and experience with Panels changes and Grounding Systems and ability to install these systems unsupervised
• Strong troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills and ability to fix the issue unsupervised
• Confident, “in the moment” decision making ability
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
