The Role
If you have at least 5 years of HVAC installation experience, a valid Connecticut D2 license, and proven leadership skills, this is your chance to work with a company known for its excellence and commitment to quality. You will lead a team of installers, ensuring top-tier workmanship and customer satisfaction on every job.
Job Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and train a team of HVAC installers to ensure high-quality workmanship, productivity, and adherence to company standards.
- HVAC System Installation: Perform and oversee the installation of a variety of residential HVAC systems, including central air conditioning, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems.
- System Testing & Startup: Conduct system startup procedures and thorough testing on new installations to verify functionality and ensure all systems meet or exceed manufacturer specifications.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, providing expert recommendations and ensuring a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during installation to ensure optimal system performance.
- Code Compliance & Safety: Ensure all installations comply with the National Electrical Code, state and local HVAC regulations, and all company safety policies.
- Quality Assurance: Perform final inspections on installations to confirm that all work meets or exceeds Bruni & Campisi's high standards.
- Record Keeping & Software Use: Utilize Service Titan to document job details, track installations, and maintain accurate customer records.
- Inventory & Material Management: Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure job sites are stocked with all necessary materials and tools.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 5 years of HVAC installation experience
- License: Valid Connecticut D2 license is strongly preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and train junior installers while maximizing job site productivity.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of HVAC system installations, including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems.
- Service Software: Experience using Service Titan or similar software is preferred.
- Blueprint & Code Knowledge: Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, blueprints, and installation manuals.
- Customer-Focused: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to installations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, tools, and materials as needed.
